Check your loan against property offers
One form. We take it to the lenders most likely to approve it and bring back the offers.
A loan against property lets you raise a substantial amount against a house, shop or land you already own, at a rate far below anything unsecured, over a long tenure. You keep using the property throughout.
It is also the loan with the most serious downside. Default here does not cost you a credit score — it costs you the property. It suits a productive purpose with a clear repayment plan, and suits an emergency far less well than it appears to.

Loan Against Property — common questions
How much can I borrow against my property?
A share of the lender's own valuation of the property — not your estimate of its worth, and typically well below full market value. Commercial and agricultural land are funded at a lower share than residential.
Can I raise a loan against agricultural land?
Some lenders do, though fewer than for residential property, and usually at a lower share of value and a shorter tenure. State-level rules on mortgaging agricultural land also apply and vary considerably.
